Dublin Psychology Centre is a specialist psychological assessment and therapy service for both children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related difficulties, including ADHD, dyslexia, intellectual disabilities and emotional and behavioural problems.
We provide best practice multi-disciplinary diagnostic assessments of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The assessments are multi-disciplinary (at a minimum involving both clinical psychology and speech and language therapy) and use the internationally recognised ‘gold standard’ ADI-R and ADOS 2 instruments, thereby ensuring that any diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder is accepted by the HSE, CAMHS, and Department of Education and Science.
The Emotional Resilience Group aims to equip children with the skills in managing stress and enhance coping skills.
The Social Skills group is designed to help children develop skills essential to successful social interactions and relationships with their peers.
The groups are run over a number of weeks and taught in various age groups ranging from 6 to 12. As each child may have different areas to further develop, an initial planning session is booked individually with each parent and child to set specific goals. Please contact us for further information.
